Switch type throttle position sensor
The throttle position sensor is essentially a switch , also known as the throttle switch. The throttle Sensor Camshaft includes moving contact , idle contact , full load contacts. The idle and full load contacts contact can detect the engine idling condition and heavy load state. Generally referred to as the moving contact TL contacts, idle contact called IDL contact, full load contacts called PSW contacts. It can be seen from the structure , with the throttle linkage rod under the action of the cam can be rotated , the movable contact moving along the cam groove . The throttle Crank Position Sensor structure is relatively simple, but its output is discontinuous . The throttle fully closed , the voltage applied to the terminal from the IDL terminal TL , then back to the electronic controller . The way through the transmission signal, the electronic controller is now understood throttle fully closed state. When the accelerator pedal is depressed , in a section of the door opening degree or more , the voltage terminals from the TL terminal PSW then passed through the electronic controller . Electronic controller understand, now open for a certain angle of the throttle . Below I will idle speed signal and the load signal to illustrate the impact of the fuel injection quantity . When IDL signal output and engine speed exceeds a predetermined speed , the interrupt oil supply to prevent overheating of the catalyst and fuel savings . When IDL signal output from a switch to no output , the electronic controller determines the throttle from fully closed state to the open state of change , of course, will determine the vehicle is started or re- shaped in order to accelerate the engine warm-up will be based on the state of accelerated concentration , increasing the fuel injection quantity , in order to supply the required acceleration darker mixture. When a signal is input to PSW electronic controller , then play enriched output function , increasing the amount of fuel injection . In heavy traffic , if there is no signal output PSW , it will not effect the output concentration , the engine output power will be slightly lower .
